Thoovanathumbikal (transl. Dragonflies in the Spraying Rain) is a 1987 Indian Malayalam-language romantic drama film written and directed by P. Padmarajan, based partly on his own novel Udakappola. It revolves around Jayakrishnan (Mohanlal)
Jayakrishnan lives a dual life and ensures that neither collide. However, despite his best efforts, he fails when he falls in love with two women who faithfully represent both his lives.
